Special Edition Sensory Yin + Pink lotus
The practice begins close to the floor, supported by bolsters, blankets and blocks. Long, steady holds guide you into your hips, spine, shoulders and heart space. Each posture is fully supported, so the body can soften without effort. Throughout the class we offer gentle, intentional touch and hands-on assists that invite you to release more deeply, to feel held, and to surrender into the shapes with greater ease.
As the minutes unfold, sensations become more refined: the weight of the body resting into props, the texture of fabric on your skin, the subtle fragrance in the room, and the warmth of supportive touch. In each shape, there is time to notice, to release & to feel. Yin asks nothing of you but presence, and in that presence, layers begin to let go.
The final part of the class invites you into deep stillness. We close with a long, supported rest: eyes closed, cocooned by a blanket, and gently guided into surrender.
After 90 minutes, you rise with a sense of spaciousness in your body, clarity in your mind, and softness in your breath. Sensory Yin is an offering of rest, renewal and reconnection: a reminder that stillness itself, held by touch, can be deeply nourishing.
