A ceremonial gathering celebrating the summer solstice
On the longest day of the year, Midsommar, or Litha we come together,
to celebrate the earth's peak of light, the turning of the wheel, and the ancient wisdom held in our plant allies.
Sacred Sundays returns in a special collaboration with live ceremonial musician David, weaving sound, movement and plant medicine into an evening that honours both the solstice and the green world that sustains us.

a warm welcome
Welcome, Arrival & Cacao Ceremony
Participants arrive and are welcomed into sacred space. The facilitator opens the circle, shares the theme and intention for the gathering, and leads the ceremonial preparation and drinking of cacao and rose. A brief land and body acknowledgment invites everyone to soften, breathe, and feel the ground beneath them. .
lets dive deep
Somatic practice & sound journey
As the cacao begins to open the heart, we gently enter the ceremony together with David. Through a live immersive soundscape of voice, tonal instruments, guitar, and healing frequencies, participants are guided into deep restoration and inner journeying. Woven throughout the ceremony are moments of meditation, somatic body-work and breath — we are creating space for emotional release, remembrance, integration, and stillness. It’s also a great space to create more life-force energy. .
The journey
Reiki
Throughou the sound journey, Sofie will make her way acros the group to offer optional individual reiki.
The closing
Integration, Circle Share & Closing Ritual
Participants are invited to share a word, feeling, reflection, or insight from their journey together. This closing circle offers space to gently land, connect, and witness one another in community. No need to do “life” on your own. There is also room for questions or reflections for both David and Sofie — whether about the ceremony, the practices, or the themes that emerged throughout the evening. Together, we weave the thread of the experience back into the room before sealing the ceremony with a collective moment of gratitude — a breath, a hand on the heart, or a simple shared silence — before the circle is released.

Sofie & David
Sofie (Left)
Having experienced both deep sorrow and great joy, Sofie holds a deep understanding of the human journey. She believes in the beauty found in all of life’s seasons and in our natural capacity to fall in love with life
again and again, creating a path of joy,
freedom, and meaning.
Sofie is a certified Kundalini and Hatha yoga teacher with a background in psychology,
sociology, and medical anthropology. Her work brings together movement, meditation, mantra, breathwork, yoga and reiki to support healing on both physical and energetic levels. She also shares practices in somatic healing, the sacred feminine, shadow work and plant medicine, helping others reconnect with their bodies, meet hidden parts of themselves with compassion, and remember the wisdom of the Earth.
David Palmen (right)
Growing up surrounded by choir and orchestral music, David Palmen learned early on the healing power of sound. After years away from music, he reconnected with it as an ally in times of darkness—when fear and shadows take over. His blend of ethereal soundscapes, guitar, and choir-like vocals serves as an anchor of truth and light, guiding listeners back to their essence. Through his music, he hopes to remind others of their inner strength, innocence, and the power to create new realities.
